London proximity without London costs
Farnham is 55-60 minutes from London Waterloo by direct train. On-campus halls start at £158 a week. All UCA campuses sit outside London, which means the visa financial requirement is £1,023/month, not £1,529. Students get access to London's creative industry while paying Surrey prices.

Entry Requirements
Foundation / International Foundation in Creative Practices:
- Academic: High school completion (12 years); approximately 50% overall (India HSC or equivalent)
- English: IELTS 5.0 overall (no band below 4.5)
- Portfolio: Required for all creative foundation routes
Undergraduate (BA/BSc/BMus):
- Academic: High school completion with 60%+ overall (India Class XII or equivalent); or completion of Year 1 of a recognised bachelor's degree with pass grades
- English: IELTS 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5); PTE Academic 59; TOEFL iBT 80 (L17, R18, S20, W17)
- With Integrated Foundation Year: IELTS 5.5 overall (all bands 5.5+)
- Portfolio: Required for virtually all creative UG programmes — fine art, design, film, animation, fashion, architecture
Postgraduate (MA/MSc/MFA/MBA):
- Academic: Equivalent to UK 2:2 honours degree in relevant subject; Indian students typically need 55%+ in related bachelor's degree; MBA accepts any discipline
- English: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 5.5); PTE Academic 59; TOEFL iBT 90
- Portfolio: Required for creative MA programmes plus statement of intent; MBA/MBM requires relevant work experience (1-2 years preferred)

Scholarships at University for the Creative Arts
Early Bird Reduction
- £1,200 off first year
- All full-time international offer holders; deposit in full by end of April (Sept start) or October (Jan start); first-year fees paid by second instalment deadline
International Future Leaders of the Creative Industries Scholarship
- £3,000 off first year; up to 350 awards
- All full-time international UG, PG and PhD offer holders demonstrating academic and creative excellence; IELTS 6.0 (UG) / 6.5 (PG); deposit by end of June (Sept) or November (Jan)
UCA Creative Development Scholarship
- £3,000-£4,500 off first year
- Full-time UG, PG and PhD applicants resident in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Nigeria, Ghana, and selected ASEAN countries; must pay deposit and first-year fees before CAS
UCA Creative Europe Scholarship
- Fee reduced to UK home fee (~£9,250) for full course duration
- Full-time EU residents starting UG, PG or PhD; must meet standard deposit and fee payment schedule
