- Completion of senior secondary equivalent to New Zealand Year 12
- India: Completion of Year 11
- China: Senior High School Year 2

Programme-Specific Requirements For Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (Level 7):
- Bachelor of Animation: Digital portfolio required
- Bachelor of Software Engineering: Competency interview in maths and digital technologies
Academic Requirements For Master’s Degree Programmes (Level 9):
- Recognised bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Master of Management accepts any discipline or significant work experience
- Master of Software Engineering requires a background in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
- Master of Business Informatics requires a Level 6 qualification with a B average or equivalent
Academic Requirements For English Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0)
- Other accepted tests include OET, NZCEL, LanguageCert, Trinity ISE
