Why Choose University of Wollongong Malaysia?
Two Degrees at 70% Lower Cost
Students receive dual degrees from both UOW Malaysia and UOW Australia (QS #184). You pay Malaysian fees of just MYR 26,000–33,000 a year—saving you roughly RM 50,000–80,000 annually compared to studying the exact same programme in Australia.
A Huge Head Start for Accounting Students
As an ACCA Platinum partner, UOW Malaysia’s accounting degree exempts you from all 9 ACCA Fundamental papers. This saves students RM 15,000 in exam fees and 18 months of study time, launching your career with the BIG 5 accounting firms faster.
Top-Tier Graduate Employment Rates
Parents want to know their investment leads to careers. UOW boasts an 80.2% full-time employment rate within 15 months of graduation. In Malaysia, it earned 7-star employability ratings, backed by a network of heavy-hitting employers like Intel and Shangri-La.
Elite Tech Training with Intel
UOW Malaysia is the first Southeast Asian university to join Intel’s exclusive Shuttle Programme. Engineering and computing students get hands-on experience using the exact same chip-design software (PDK) used by Intel engineers worldwide, making them highly sought after by tech giants.
Globally Recognized Engineering Degrees
All engineering programmes are accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and recognized globally through the Washington Accord. This means graduates are legally qualified to work as professional engineers in the UK, USA, Australia, and Singapore.
