Why Choose The University of Law (ULaw)?
1. The UK's Largest Specialist Law University
ULaw trains lawyers for 94 of the top 100 UK law firms in the country. That is not a marketing claim - it is a pipeline built over 150 years of specialist legal education. If you want to become a solicitor or barrister in the UK, this is where the profession trains.
2. TEF Gold for Student Experience
In the UK government's 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework, ULaw received Gold for Student Experience — the highest rating available for that category. This reflects the quality of teaching, feedback and the learning environment, assessed independently by the Office for Students
3. 94% of Postgraduates in Work
Based on 2021/22 HESA Graduate Outcomes data, 94% of ULaw postgraduates are in employment or further study within 15 months. For undergraduate law specifically, DiscoverUni data shows 90% of accelerated LLB graduates in work or study within the same timeframe.
4. Accredited Business and Law Degrees
The MSc Strategic Business Management is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, meaning graduates earn CMI Level 7 eligibility alongside their degree. BSc Accounting and Finance allows entry into Year 2 or 3 based on existing ACCA or CIMA exam passes.
5. Multiple Intakes, Central London
Business master's programmes start in June, September and February. ULaw also offers an Employment Promise on qualifying law and business courses — if you do not secure a job within 9 months of graduating, part or all of your fees may be refunded. That is a level of commitment most universities do not make
