Entry Requirements

Foundation & Diploma Programmes:
  • Academic: High school completion (SPM, O-Levels, IGCSE) with a minimum GPA of 2.0-2.5.
  • English: IELTS 5.5 (all bands acceptable), TOEFL iBT 46, PTE Academic 36.
  • Note: Science Foundation requires high school Physics & Chemistry.
Bachelor's Programmes:
  • Academic: STPM (GPA 2.0+), A-Levels (minimum 3 subjects), or IB Diploma (24+ points).
  • English: IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in all bands), TOEFL iBT 60, PTE Academic 50. (Medicine/Law require IELTS 6.5).
  • Subject Specifics: Engineering requires Physics + Mathematics. Medicine/Pharmacy requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and a GPA of 3.0+. Design/Architecture requires a portfolio review.
Master's & PhD Programmes:
  • Academic (Master's): Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (GPA 2.5 accepted with work experience).
  • Academic (PhD): Master's degree (GPA 3.0+) or an exceptional Bachelor's with a research background.
  • English: IELTS 6.0-6.5, TOEFL iBT 60-80, PTE Academic 50.
  • Additional: Statement of Purpose, academic references, and a detailed research proposal for PhD applicants.
