Humber offers credentials from one-year certificates to four-year honours bachelor degrees. Ontario graduate certificates let diploma or degree holders add a professional specialisation in one year. The college is also developing an Applied Master in Advanced Manufacturing.

Finance, technology, health, media and logistics employers all have major operations in Toronto. Graduates on a Post-Graduation Work Permit can build the skilled work experience needed for Express Entry. Entry Requirements

Certificate and Diploma Programmes:
  • Academic: Grade 12 completion. Most programmes need English 12 and Math 12. Health programmes need Biology and Chemistry. Media and design programmes may need a portfolio.
  • English: IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5). TOEFL iBT 80 (no section below 20). PTE 53. Duolingo 105. CAEL 60.
Advanced Diploma Programmes:
  • Academic: Same as diploma level. Health and engineering programmes may ask for higher marks.
  • English: Same minimums as diploma programmes. Some programmes set higher scores.
Honours Bachelor Degree Programmes:
  • Academic: Grade 12 completion with required subjects. Some degrees need a minimum admission average.
  • English: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0). TOEFL iBT 84 (no section below 21). PTE 58. Duolingo 110. CAEL 70.
Ontario Graduate Certificate Programmes:
  • Academic: A recognized diploma or degree in a related field.
  • English: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0). TOEFL iBT 88 (no section below 22). PTE 61. Duolingo 115. CAEL 70.

Scholarships at Humber College

President's International Entrance Award
President's International Entrance Award
  • Offers a CAD $2,000 bursary for eligible international students.
  • Available to new international students outside Canada starting in January, May or September 2026.
  • Students must accept their offer, pay the CAD $3,000 tuition deposit, and submit their study permit application before the deadline.
  • This scholarship is automatically awarded if all conditions are met.
  • Applicable for most programmes except the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme.
  • This is a one-time scholarship and is not renewable.
International Entrance Scholarship (Diploma & Advanced Diploma)
International Entrance Scholarship (Diploma & Advanced Diploma)
  • Provides CAD $2,000 total funding, distributed as CAD $1,000 per semester for the first two semesters.
  • Available for new international students entering Diploma or Advanced Diploma programmes.
  • Scholarships are awarded based on highest academic GPA achievement.
  • Humber offers 20 scholarships for September intake, 15 for January intake, and 5 for May intake.
  • Only one student per country per intake can receive this award.
  • Students are automatically considered after beginning their studies.
  • This scholarship is one-time only.
Bachelor Degree Entrance Scholarship

  • Offers up to CAD $4,000 per year for eligible undergraduate degree students.
  • Available to new students entering directly from high school into a Humber bachelor degree programme.
  • Scholarship amounts are based on academic performance:
    • 95%+ GPA: CAD $4,000
    • 90–94.9% GPA: CAD $3,500
    • 85–89.9% GPA: CAD $3,000
    • 80–84.9% GPA: CAD $2,000
    • 75–79.9% GPA: CAD $1,500 one-time award
  • Students are automatically assessed upon admission.
  • Renewable each year if students maintain an 80% or higher academic average.
International Onshore Scholarship
International Onshore Scholarship
  • Provides a CAD $1,000 one-time scholarship.
  • Designed for international students already living in Canada with a Canadian address.
  • Available for students applying for May 2026, September 2026 or January 2027 intakes.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis if applications exceed available funding.
  • Students are automatically considered if eligibility requirements are met.
  • This award is not renewable.
EAP Pathway Award

  • Offers a CAD $500 scholarship for eligible students.
  • Available to graduates of Humber’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme progressing into a Degree or Postgraduate programme.
