Why Choose Georgian College?
Graduate Employment Above Ontario's Provincial Average for 25 Consecutive Years
Georgian's graduate employment rate is 90.3%. This means more than 9 out of 10 graduates find work within six months of finishing their programme. Georgian has held this position above the Ontario college average for 25 straight years. Employer satisfaction sits at 100% for the same period.
6,000 Employer Partners and Work-Integrated Learning
Every Georgian programme includes hands-on learning. Most programmes include a formal co-op term, internship, or field placement. These placements happen through Georgian's network of more than 6,000 companies across automotive, tech, health, business, and trades in Central Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. Students graduate with Canadian employer relationships already in place.
Canada's Only Ashoka U Changemaker College
Georgian is the first and only college in Canada to hold the Ashoka U Changemaker designation. This means programmes are built around real-world problem-solving and social innovation. Employers in business, health, social services, and technology actively look for graduates with this kind of training.
Seven Campuses Across Central Ontario
Georgian has seven campuses — Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound, Midland, Muskoka, South Georgian Bay, and Orangeville. Many programmes are available at more than one location. Students can choose their campus based on lifestyle, cost of living, and how close they want to be to specific industries. Specialized trades, marine, and automotive programmes are offered at campuses located within those regional industries.
Barrie is Affordable and 90 Minutes from Toronto
Barrie is roughly 90 minutes from Toronto by GO Transit. Students get access to Greater Toronto Area employers without paying Toronto living costs. Diploma programmes start at $16,990 per year. Graduate certificates start at $17,900. The surrounding region offers skiing at Collingwood, boating on Georgian Bay, and outdoor access that most college towns cannot match.
