Guaranteed Residence With a $2,000 Annual Discount

Guaranteed Residence With a $2,000 Annual Discount

All international students are guaranteed a place in on-campus residence for the duration of their studies. Students starting in Fall 2026 receive a $2,000 per year residence discount for up to four years. This works out to an average 25% reduction in accommodation costs depending on room choice. Twelve residence buildings on campus offer options from traditional doubles to premium singles.

Co-op Outcomes That Pay

In 2024, 75% of Acadia co-op students secured work terms. Average earnings were $11,078 per four-month work term. The university offers 22 undergraduate degrees with co-op options across nearly all disciplines. The co-op programme previously received an A- rating in the Globe and Mail Canadian University Report, the highest in its institutional category.

Small Classes on a Residential Campus

With a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio and an average first-year class size of 32, Acadia offers the kind of individual attention uncommon at larger Canadian universities. The 250-acre campus in Wolfville is a one-hour drive from Halifax and Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Wolfville's housing costs run about 52% below the Canadian national average.

Research at the Undergraduate Level
