The university is home to IBERS (Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences), a global leader in food security and sustainability research. With a dedicated campus at Gogerddan, Aberystwyth offers specialized strengths in environmental sciences, agriculture, and biology, with 98% of research recognized internationally (REF 2021).
